Aeoliki Ltd. is active in Cyprus in terms of applications of EMAS to SMEs. Solomon Ioannou, one of five consultants trained by ECE on the EMAS easy methodology in 2005, has since then been involved in five EMAS verifications - the first and only ones in Cyprus to date.
In addition, Aeoliki Ltd. within the scope of Life Third countries programme, has applied EMAS easy at the Mövenpick resorts in the Dead Sea and in Petra, Jordan, which have successfully passed verification audits in Spring 2008 making them the very first EMAS registered organisations in the Middle East.
Aeoliki's competence in the applicability of EMAS easy is well established as the only leader of EMAS easy in Cyprus and the Middle East. Currently Aeoliki is applying EMAS easy to six SMEs in Cyprus.
