Central Balkan Cluster - 15 members
The region around "Central Balkan" National Park is situatedin hte heart of the Balkan mountains and includes 9 strict nature reserves, spanning over 9 municipalities and covering a territory of 20 000 hectares. It is known for its beautiful nature, clean air, lack of polluting industry and a general sense of sustainable toursim. The region is known for lots of archaeological evidence from presence of Romans and Thracians and is a key area for the Bulgarian resistance and uprising against Turkish empire. Read more...
Devin cluster - 8 members 

The city of Devin is а popular tourist destination, abundant in hot springs, situated in the heart of the Rhodope Mountain in the south central part of Bulgaria. The municipality of Devin is covering 575 sq. km.  The region was known in antiquity for the healing properties of its mineral springs.

Devin offers access to nearby gorges, rock formations, caves, forests, natural reserves with protected and endemic species, and most of all, clean air. Read more...

January - Devin municipality in Bulgaria endorses local environmental Charter In the framework of the EMAS Easy MOVE-IT! project, 4 hotels in Devin (Bulgaria) - Ismena, Persenk, Orpheus, and Euridika, along with the municipality and the local Hunting and Fisherment Union will sign on January 13, 2012 the Charter for Sustainable SPA & Wellness destinations.
