first certified cluster of the project, located in the biosphere reserve
Swabian Alb, in the southeast of Stuttgart, Germany.Setting up environmental management practices can
generate profits both for the environment and the economy: one example taken
from the biosphere cluster is presented below. Last but not least, from the EMAS awards 2010 to the
international European EMAS conference, new insights are coming out from the
